CLIENT: CS Energy
VALUE: $150,000
DURATION: February 2008 - March 2008
Shamrock Civil was contracted by CS Energy for the construction of a concrete spillway for the Ash Dam at Swanbank Power Station.
Shamrock's package also included the demolition of the existing concrete spillway, the reshaping of the existing batters, grading and leveling of the access roads and the spreading of chitters on the access roads. The dam works also included dumped rock protection and a reno mattress.
Shamrock Civil also carried out a number of smaller tasks for CS Energy whilst on site including the relocation of the existing dam overflow pipe and the installation of a new overflow pipe and alterations to the access roads and batters.
Shamrock Civil were able to call upon their extensive resources to ensure we were able to meet CS Energy's additional needs whilst still completing the project within the original programme.
