CLIENT: Brisbane Airport Corporation

DURATION: April 2010 - May 2010
As principle contractor, Shamrock Civil Engineering was contracted by the Brisbane Airport Corporation to install:
- 100 meter concrete pathway adjacent to the apron;
- Guardrail and handrail along the kerb; and
- Seven (7) lighting poles landside of the pathway and connected to the specified distribution board.
Working airside required strict adherence to the BAC conditions for working airside, which included:
- Shamrock Civil's Site Supervisor having an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) and providing fulltime supervision for the duration of the works;
- A fulltime security guard with a Category 2 Authority To Drive Airside (ADA) to escort vehicles on and off site; and
- For the duration of the works continuous monitoring and maintenance of the environmental conditions of the site ensuring compliance with Samrock Civil's approved Construction and Environmental Management Plan.
