Shamrock Civil were awarded the contract for the construction of a new Industrial Park at Richlands, the scope of works included site decontamination, earthworks, services and pavements.
Decontamination works involved removal and disposal of asbestos contaminated soils in accordance with the requirements of the EPA. This was followed by site earthworks including approximately 10,000m3 cut to fill to form road subgrade, building platforms and detention basins.
Service installations included stormwater, water, sewer, telecom and electrical reticulations.
The project was finished off with hard landscaping, footpaths and an asphalt paved road.
