Project scope included all civil infrastructure upgrades required for the Portside Wharf Development. All works were completed on existing roads with oublic and contruction traffic flow being maintained at all times.
Major roadworks were carried out to a number of streets surrounding the site including the upgrading of the intersection of Kingsford Smith Drive and Remora Road. Works included the removal and replacement of existing road pavements, concrete works and retaining wall installation all in co-ordination with traffic light upgrades.
Major stormwater and sewer infrastructure works were completed under difficult site conditions including a major redesign mid project. 2100 dia stormwater culverts were installed at a maximum depth of 5m in flowing sand.
All works were completed on time and budget and to a high quality to meet the requirements of the Portside Wharf Development.
