Shamrock Civil were awarded the civil component for the construction of a new university at Springfield. This work comprised of the construction of 2 roads and 3 carparks.
The initial works comprised of clearing the site of all existing vegetation and the bulk excavation and filling as required.
Civil storm water included the paying of pipework and construction of various types of concrete structures including a number of gross pollutant traps.
The road works component included the construction of 13,500m2 of asphalt car parks and internal roads, construction of crossovers, speed bumps, footpaths and kerb and channel.
All works were completed on time and to a high quality to meet the requirments of ACLLL and Baulderstone Hornibrook.
