Brisbane Boy's College is an independent day and boarding school for boys, located in Toowong. Shamrock Civil were awarded the External Civil and Roadworks package for the redevelopment of the College.
The external civil and roadworks consisted of new internal roads, car park and bus set down area and modifications to Moggill Road and Miskin Street entrances.
This work involved:
- The demolition of 3,500m2 of existing road. Demolition of kerb, channel, crossovers, stormwater pipes and pits;
- Installation of 150m of stormwater pipes and associated manhole and inlet structures;
- Concrete works which included approx. 1,200m of and channels (including subsoils), approx. 380m2 of footpaths and two concrete roundabout infills;
- Two crossovers were also constructed, one at Moggill Road and one at Miskin Street; and
