Murrumba Downs Waste Water Treatment Plant

CLIENT:                  John Holland

VALUE:                   $400,000

DURATION:            July 2008 - August 2008

The contract involved a bulk excavation adjacent to an existing treatment facility in order to accommodate the upgrade and reconstruction of the new facility.  All materials excavated from site were acid sulphate materials and had to be lime treated prior to being removed from site.

A filling area was prepared adjacent to the excavation site and all materials were tested onsite and treated with a lime dosage according to their acidity.

Once the excavation and filling / treatment process was complete and all material had passed a retesting process, it was removed from site and utilized as fill material.

Working in and around an existing facility required constant consultation and communication with the client in order to facilitate the bulk excavation process and the plant production.
