Wolston Park Hospital Redevelopment |
|
CLIENT: John Holland
VALUE: $1,037,000
DURATION: December 2000 - May 2002
Our contract involved clearing the site and minor demolition, earthworks to building pads, landscaped areas and pavements. The hospital remained in operation during the works, so it was vital that works were programmed and executed to cause minimal disruptions.
Approximatley 70% of materials won in the site clearing / demolition works were recycled on site and incorporated in the works i.e. topsoil and wood mulch were reclaimed and used in landscaping, demolition material bricks, concrete were crushed and screened and used in the filling operation.
The earthworks component included cut to fill of approximately 25,000m3, approximately 8,000m2 of road pavement was constructed.
The project was staged to coincide with the builders program and completed on time.
