Morayfield Shopping Centre Roadworks

CLIENT:                  Leda Design & Construction

VALUE:                   $1,100,000

DURATION:            September 2007 - April 2008

LEDA engaged Shamrock Civil Engineering to conduct the roadworks adjacent to their Shopping Centre including:

  • Widening / Reducing Median widths;
  • Extending Turning Lanes;
  • Stormwater pits and pipes;
  • Conduits;
  • Constructing Pavements; and
  • New Traffic intersection outside the centre itself.

Due to the fact that this is the major road through the area carrying high volumes of traffic and the stringent Main roads standards meant that this project offered many complex issues.  Some of which include issues in relation to traffic control, staging, co-ordination and managing the job throughout the duration of the Christmas trading period.

Close co-ordination with Utilec to complete the Energex conduits was critical in the provisioning of this project.

The client was very happy with the efficiency and expedient manner in which we completed this project.
